Coffee & Kettlebells

Jul 12, 2019

Are you struggling to commit to your body transformation? Are you overwhelmed by the goals you have set for yourself? Do you let your current life circumstances define you? In this episode of Coffee & Kettlebells, guest Chris Powell is here to help.

Chris is widely known as the transformation specialist and host of ABC’s documentary-style series, “Extreme Weight Loss.” Chris has also written two books that have soared to the top of the New York Times Best Seller list: Extreme Transformation: Lifelong Weight Loss in 21 Days and Choose to Lose, and is also the author of Choose More, Lose More For Life. Chris has been seen on Good Morning America, the Doctors and the Dr. Oz Show, and has also been featured in Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, Shape and Women’s Health.

Chris struggled with a drug addiction, was $200K in debt and found himself homeless. Regardless of his life circumstances, nothing stopped him from transforming his life and experiencing true success. Chris shares the lessons he learned through his journey, plus his key strategies for experiencing success, not only with your body transformation, but in all aspects of your life.

Check out this episode to learn how you (yes, you!) can overcome your current circumstances and experience real body transformation by setting goals you can actually commit to. Being a victim of your circumstance is optional. You are just as capable of success as anyone else. So, why not you?

What You’ll Learn:

  • Why you are not a victim of your circumstances
  • Why you fail at developing healthy habits
  • How to stick to the health goals you have set for yourself
  • Why you need to unite with others who elevate you
  • How comparison is holding you back
  • Why you need to be flexible with your approach
  • Circumstances don’t define you

Chris’s big takeaway:

You are not defined by who you are now. If you want to change, change is literally moments away. Just take small baby steps instead of trying to take it all on at once. Focus on being a little bit better today, a little bit better tomorrow and even more the next day. Honor your commits to yourself and allow them to build. When you do, three, six or nine months from now, you will look back and be amazed by what you have accomplished.
