I’m here today to talk about Macros and I ask the question should you be counting your Macros? Macros are Macronutrients and they consist of carbs, fats and protein. You can count your macros using percentages or by grams. Counting macros is a great tool to have in your toolbox when you’re learning to eat healthier. You might be gaining weight just by eating too much of one macro. When counting macros, you know exactly what’s going in your body and it’s helpful with keeping you accountable. As you progress in your health journey and learn how to eat healthy, you’ll get a solid understanding of portion size and know what feels good and works in your body. When you know what works for you, you can stop counting your macros and instead focus on eating intuitively.
